Summary: | The book “Evidence: From theory to nursing practice”, is a document resulting from research processes; its development is done through a chapter by chapter staggering, which contains different methodologies used to address the research questions; from the presentation of a fundamental exploratory phase in research, such as literature reviews which arise from the ideas; subsequently, the systematization of experiences that allow to achieve a critical interpretation of practical experiences in nursing is identified. From the reordering and reconstruction, logical processes of thought of those involved in the experience are used; then, the development of research processes taken from the qualitative paradigm is exposed, in which it is evidenced how the analysis of social phenomena expressed not only in the academic practice but also through the information technologies, propitiate researches that generate knowledge that can be divulged to the general community. Finally, the practice guidelines are based on evidence, a documentary research with rigorous methodological tools for the critical reading of research results, which guarantee the generation of recommendations with a reliable scientific basis, appropriate and adapted to the different areas of professional practice.
