Summary:This work’s main objective is to strength the conceptual and technical competencies in a person’s care on respiratory system disorders, this objective is reached by the professional nursing as the in training personnel. The subjects are based on a systematic literature review and content analysis. Additionally, professional experiences of the authors are incorporated. The text is an updated and self-learning pedagogical tool, it covers major aspects regarding oxygen therapy as part of the interdisciplinary interventions; those, existing in people whose need is ventilatory assistance. The book grants specific approaches to the nursing role and its detailed interventions; such tactics are based on the theoretical-scientific support which guides care actions.
