| description | In the context of the pandemic and the undeniable economic crisis that has left global tourism activity, a latent phenomenon is present in local communities in the face of adversities caused, whether by natural disasters, social conflicts or in this particular case by public health reasons in tourist destinations, and it is the concept of community resilience, which has made it possible to analyze the different resources, means and strategies that collectives, families or cultural groups use to face and overcome sociopolitical or ecological threats. This perspective recognizes that resilience at the collective level is achieved thanks to interrelationships and interactions of community characteristics that integrate shared and organized reconstruction actions, and more than individual activities, the social entity is addressed as such. the research that gives rise to this manuscript is based on the concept of community resilience and focuses on establishing the resilience capacity of local communities in times of pandemic for the reactivation of tourism in the department of Boyacá and in Colombia. |

En el contexto de la pandemia y la innegable crisis económica que ha dejado en la actividad turística mundial, se hace presente un fenómeno latente en las comunidades locales frente a las adversidades provocadas, sea por desastres naturales, conflictos sociales o para este caso en particular, por razones de salud pública en los destinos turísticos, y es, el concepto de resiliencia comunitaria, la cual ha permitido analizar los diferentes recursos, medios y estrategias que los colectivos, familias o grupos culturales utilizan para enfrentarse y sobreponerse a amenazas sociopolíticas o ecológicas. Esta perspectiva, reconoce que la resiliencia a nivel colectivo se logra gracias a interrelaciones e interacciones de características comunitarias que integran actividades compartidas y organizadas de reconstrucción, y más que ejercicios individuales, se aborda a la entidad social como tal. Es así como, la investigación que da origen a este manuscrito, se sustenta bajo el concepto de resiliencia comunitaria y se enfoca hacia el establecimiento de la capacidad de resiliencia de las comunidades locales en tiempos de pandemia para la reactivación del turismo en el departamento de Boyacá y en Colombia.
