Description
Summary:This research-based book discusses the theoretical, practical, and methodological components of the pedagogical experience: Philosophy and Childhood in the Department of Boyacá –Colombia. It presents the forms of self-constitution of a group of teachers who accepted the invitation to embrace new ways of thinking, feeling, teaching, and learning, relating to childhood and philosophy. The book begins with a discussion of the theoretical and methodological process of the project. Consequently, we explore the ways of appropriation and implementation of the experience on several levels: first of all, through the teachers’ pedagogical practice, which represent the possibilities and actions of the teacher with respect to her/himself, to others, and to the environment. Secondly, through the physical-relational territories inhabited by teachers and students. Thirdly, through the resources used in the daily praxis of the Philosophy and Childhood project. Fourthly, through the discursive and research processes mobilized by the teachers’ experiences. Finally, we conclude with by means of a Hindsight, Coda, and Way forward, that articulate the spirals, multiplicities and lines of flight which have circulated and transformed ways of thinking about school, educational processes and the subjective constitution of teachers and students.
