Summary: | This research book presents an approximation to the state of the art in the Colombian curricular field. Data was collected through the publications of the main authors in this area, from 2000 to 2019. This study continues to foster the research program carried out by the research group “Construyendo Comunidad Educativa CCE” sponsored by the institutional research direction. This book is about a documental qualitative, critical and interpretative study. The data was composed by books, chapters and research articles, selected by convenience. The authors and researchers of such books, chapters and articles got graduate studies. They belonged to research groups and most of them were engaged in research areas at master or doctoral programs. The main findings point at the authors’ interests, advances, paths and movements. It was found that a single author supports diverse topics. In the same way, different authors enrich a single category from a different perspective. The state of knowledge – an approximation, puts together the research commitments and the comprehensions, the active participation of social actors in communities, the changes in editorial policies- the institutional editorial houses. As such,the findings of publications related to curriculum show new dynamics, open lines and commitments to enrich the field.
