Los cambios en el entorno exigen la transformación de los currículos de formación en turismo, desde una formación tradicional a una integral, que guarde equilibrio entre la teoría y la práctica, e incluya el desarrollo de competencias blandas y el uso de herramientas tecnológicas. Este artículo teórico-conceptual busca identificar las competencias, habilidades y características sugeridas en la formación en turismo, y describir las tendencias generales de investigación sobre la innovación curricular en dicho tema. Se hace un análisis de artículos científicos académicos extraídos de las bases de datos Scopus y Science Direct entre 2008 y 2018. Les mutations de l'environnement exigent la transformation des programmes de formation touristique, qui doivent passer d'une formation traditionnelle à une formation intégrale, tout en gardant un équilibre entre la théorie et la pratique, y compris le développement de compétences générales et l'utilisation d'outils technologiques. Cet article théorique et conceptuel cherche à identifier les compétences, les aptitudes et les caractéristiques suggérées dans la formation en tourisme et à décrire les tendances générales de la recherche sur l'innovation curriculaire en tourisme. Une analyse est faite à partir d'articles scientifiques académiques extraits des bases de données Scopus et Science Direct entre 2008 et 2018. As mudanças no entorno exigem a transformação dos currículos de formação em turismo, desde uma formação tradicional para uma integral, que seja equilibrada entre a teoria e a prática, e incluía o desenvolvimento de competências brandas e o uso de ferramentas tecnológicas. Este artigo, de tipo teórico-conceitual, procura identificar as competências, habilidades e características sugeridas na formação em turismo, e descrever as tendências gerais da pesquisa sobre a inovação curricular em dito assunto. Faz-se uma análise de artigos científicos acadêmicos extraídos das bases de dados Scopus e Science Direct entre 2008 e 2018.
