description This article shows the results of a research whose objective was to analyze the application of a self-evaluation rubric as a didactic strategy for writing reviewing. For this, a case study was applied and the sample was made up of 195 self-assessments of the writing productions of high school students, generated during the virtual writing workshops guided by the tutors of an Online Writing Center, in an educational institution of Medellin, Colombia. The self-assessed typologies were the essay, the academic presentation and the review. The results show a good level of reliability according to Cronbach's Alpha and the standard deviation reflects the differences associated with the levels of appropriation of writing by students. The conclusions state that the instrument can be used didactically in face-to-face or virtual academic activities. In addition, the use of self-assessment as a writing review strategy favors the students being autonomous and self-reflective of their textual production.

En el artículo se presentan los resultados de una investigación cuyo objetivo fue analizar la aplicación de una rúbrica de autoevaluación como estrategia didáctica de revisión de la escritura. Para ello, se aplicó un estudio de caso y la muestra estuvo conformada por 195 autoevaluaciones de las producciones escriturales de estudiantes de educación media, generadas durante los talleres virtuales de escritura orientados por los tutores de un Centro de Escritura Digital, en una institución educativa de Medellín, Colombia. Las tipologías autoevaluadas fueron el ensayo, la presentación académica y la reseña. Los resultados muestran un nivel de confiabilidad bueno según el Alfa de Cronbach y la desviación estándar refleja las diferencias asociadas a los niveles de apropiación de la escritura por parte de los estudiantes. En las conclusiones se afirma que el instrumento puede ser utilizado didácticamente en actividades académicas presenciales o virtuales. Además, el uso de la autoevaluación como estrategia de revisión de la escritura favorece que el estudiante sea autónomo y autorreflexivo de su producción textual.
