Algunas de estas preguntas orientan el presente trabajo, el cual propone un recorrido por diversos momentos de la biografía inglesa (Aubrey, Boswell, Johnson, Strachey) en los cuales, la búsqueda de un método biográfico coincide con la definición de una singularidad: la inteligencia literaria que fascina y seduce al biógrafo.
