description The issues of time and space have been key in the understanding of human life and have a long tradition in the development of human thought; therefore, they have a special role and significance in the development of human culture; this also means that issues related to the spatio-temporal orderings of the various societies become an important part of school work and its educational processes, being Social Sciences the disciplines in charge of these issues. However, the existence of this concern and of this set of disciplines does not translate into the existence of a true and solid training on these issues. In fact, the spatial issue that is evident in the architecture of the institution itself as in the educational proposal, has not generated a formation that leads to a relationship, both conscious about space and its role in personal and social life, as well as about the close relationships that arise between the development model and space and that leads to a more real participation of communities in territorial planning. Therefore, given the circumstances surrounding the Colombian rural world, it would be desirable for the school to review its spatial references and, in view of the post-conflict situation, to participate in the process of re-constituting community-territory links, generating processes of appropriation and consolidation of new spatial arrangements.

Las cuestiones del tiempo y del espacio han sido claves en la comprensión  de la vida humana así como poseen una larga tradición en el desarrollo del pensamiento humano; por ello mismo, un especial papel y significado en el desarrollo de la cultura humana; ello hace, igualmente, que los asuntos relacionados con los ordenamientos espacio-temporales de las diversas sociedades, se conviertan en una parte importante del trabajo escolar y de sus procesos educativos, siendo las Ciencia Sociales, las disciplinas encargadas de dichos asuntos. Ahora bien, la existencia de esta preocupación y de este conjunto de disciplinas no se traduce en la existencia de una verdadera y sólida formación sobre estas cuestiones. En efecto, la cuestión espacial que es evidente en la arquitectura propia de la institución como en la propuesta educativa, no ha generado una formación que conduzca a una relación, tanto consciente sobre el espacio y su papel en la vida personal y social, como sobre las estrechas relaciones que se suscitan entre el modelo de desarrollo y espacio y que lleve a una participación más real de las comunidades en los ordenamientos territoriales. Por ello, dadas las circunstancias que rodean el mundo rural colombiano, sería deseable que la escuela revisase sus referentes espaciales y, en atención a la situación de posconflicto, participe en el proceso de re-constitución de los vínculos comunidad - territorio, generando procesos de apropiación y consolidación de nuevos ordenamientos espaciales. As questões de tempo e espaço têm sido fundamentais para a compreensão da vida humana e têm uma longa tradição no desenvolvimento do pensamento humano; por essa razão, elas têm um papel e um significado especiais no desenvolvimento da cultura humana; isso também significa que as questões relacionadas aos ordenamentos espaço-temporais de diferentes sociedades se tornaram uma parte importante do trabalho escolar e dos processos educacionais, sendo as Ciências Sociais as disciplinas responsáveis por essas questões. Entretanto, a existência dessa preocupação e desse conjunto de disciplinas não se traduz na existência de um treinamento real e sólido sobre essas questões. De fato, a questão espacial, que é evidente na arquitetura da própria instituição, bem como na proposta educacional, não gerou uma formação que leve a uma relação, tanto consciente sobre o espaço e seu papel na vida pessoal e social, quanto sobre as relações estreitas que surgem entre o modelo de desenvolvimento e o espaço e que levam a uma participação mais real das comunidades no planejamento territorial. Portanto, dadas as circunstâncias que cercam o mundo rural colombiano, seria desejável que as escolas revisassem suas referências espaciais e, tendo em vista a situação pós-conflito, participassem do processo de reconstituição dos vínculos comunidade-território, gerando processos de apropriação e consolidação de novos arranjos espaciais.
