description The isolation and confinement measures due to the SARS-Cov-2 pandemic had an impact on the treatment, monitoring and control of non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, breast lobular carcinoma and obesity according to the World Health Organization (WHO). Likewise, the imposition of strict measures by government agencies in many countries, including Colombia, to control and mitigate the outbreak of COVID-19, such as the closure of gyms, sports centers, and public spaces, led to a 35% decrease in the levels of physical activity at the beginning of this pandemic, which is a key point to analyze and propose strategies for the prevention of most chronic diseases.

Las medidas de aislamiento y confinamiento por la pandemia del SARS-Cov-2 generó un impacto en el tratamiento, seguimiento y control de enfermedades no transmisibles como la diabetes, el carcinoma lobulillar de seno y la obesidad según la Organización Mundial de la Salud (WHO por sus cifras en inglés). Así mismo, la imposición de medidas estrictas por los entes gubernamentales de muchos países, incluido Colombia para controlar y mitigar el brote de la COVID-19 como el cierre de gimnasios, polideportivos, y espacios públicos, motivó a que al inicio de esta pandemia los niveles de actividad física disminuyeran en un 35% significando un punto clave para analizar y plantear estrategias en pro de la prevención de la mayoría de enfermedades crónicas. As medidas de isolamento e confinamento devido à pandemia de SARS-Cov-2 tiveram um impacto no tratamento, monitoramento e controle de doenças não transmissíveis, como diabetes, carcinoma lobular de mama e obesidade, de acordo com a Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS). Da mesma forma, a imposição de medidas rigorosas por órgãos governamentais em muitos países, incluindo a Colômbia, para controlar e mitigar o surto de COVID-19, como o fechamento de academias, centros esportivos e espaços públicos, levou a uma redução de 35% nos níveis de atividade física no início dessa pandemia, o que é um ponto-chave para analisar e propor estratégias para a prevenção da maioria das doenças crônicas.
