description | Objective: To analyze the roles played by family medicine residents during their postgraduate training process, in the development of a community project at urban area of Tunja city.
Methodology: Qualitative study from the experience of resident doctors specializing in family medicine, within the framework of the community project as a training strategy. The information was collected in 2019 from 135 field records, which were provided with consent, and processed using qualitative content analysis techniques from registry units and participant observation.
Conclusions: Practice in out-of-hospital settings, such as home, educational, and community settings are highly relevant for training in family medicine; who are clinical and social integrators. During postgraduate training, it is necessary to acquire the necessary job competencies to perform the various roles that the family doctor can perform, among which the clinical, educator, manager, researcher and community roles stand out. |

Objetivo: Analizar los roles ejercidos por los residentes de medicina familiar durante su proceso de formación posgraduada, en el desarrollo de un proyecto comunitario en zona urbana de la ciudad de Tunja Colombia. Metodología: Estudio cualitativo desde la experiencia de médicos residentes de la especialidad en medicina familiar, en el marco del proyecto comunitario como estrategia formativa. La información fue recopilada en el año 2019 de 135 registros de campo, los cuales fueron aportados consentidamente, y procesados mediante técnicas de análisis de contenido cualitativo a partir de unidades de registro y observación participante. Conclusiones: La práctica en escenarios extrahospitalarios, tales como los entornos hogar, educativos y comunitarios son de gran relevancia para la formación en medicina familiar; quienes son integradores clínicos y sociales. Durante la formación posgraduada, es necesario adquirir las competencias laborales necesarias para desempeñar los diversos roles que puede ejercer el médico familiar, entre los que se destacan el rol clínico, educador, gestor, investigador y comunitario. Objetivo: Analisar os papéis desempenhados pelos residentes de medicina de família durante seu processo de treinamento de pós-graduação no desenvolvimento de um projeto comunitário em uma área urbana da cidade de Tunja, Colômbia. Metodologia: estudo qualitativo baseado na experiência de residentes de medicina de família, no âmbito do projeto comunitário como estratégia de treinamento. As informações foram coletadas em 2019 a partir de 135 registros de campo, que foram contribuídos de forma consensual, e processadas usando técnicas de análise de conteúdo qualitativo de unidades de registro e observação participante. Conclusões: A prática em ambientes extra-hospitalares, como ambientes domiciliares, educacionais e comunitários, é de grande relevância para o treinamento em medicina de família, que são integradores clínicos e sociais. Durante o treinamento de pós-graduação, é necessário adquirir as competências de trabalho necessárias para desempenhar as diversas funções que os médicos de família podem exercer, entre as quais se destacam as funções clínica, educadora, gerencial, pesquisadora e comunitária.
