El artículo expone los resultados de un rastreo documental sobre investigaciones relacionadas con procesos de inclusión en la educación rural. Se observan tendencias que emergen frente a la temática con matices de, según Michel Foucault, genealogía. Con base en los referentes investigativos, se analizaron las implicaciones sobre la evolución de la inclusión educativa en contextos rurales de diferentes latitudes, para resaltar prácticas y discursos particulares. La pretensión de este texto es que sea referente para procesos investigativos sobre las problemáticas que marcan la educación inclusiva en Colombia.
