description This article presents a reflection on the state of the art of oral tradition. The study is a documentary, interpretative design. Initially, the characteristics of the methodology are shown, followed by a discussion of the categories: oral tradition and education; cultural globalization and social transformations in education; and oral tradition and technology, and finally, the conclusions. Among the most important considerations are the importance of oral tradition in the classroom for its multiple benefits, relating orality and technology as a strategy of the globalized world and using transmedia narrative as a tool to strengthen orality.

Este artículo presenta una reflexión sobre el estado del arte de la tradición oral. El estudio es documental, de diseño interpretativo. Inicialmente, se muestran las características de la metodología, luego se presenta la discusión sobre las categorías: tradición oral y educación; globalización cultural y transformaciones sociales en educación; y tradición oral y tecnología, y finalmente, las conclusiones. Entre las consideraciones más destacadas se evidencia la importancia de la tradición oral en el aula por sus múltiples beneficios, relacionar la oralidad y la tecnología como una estrategia propia del mundo globalizado y utilizar la narrativa transmedia como herramienta para fortalecer la oralidad. Este artigo apresenta uma reflexão sobre o estado da arte da tradição oral. O estudo é um projeto documental, interpretativo. Inicialmente são apresentadas as características da metodologia, seguidas por uma discussão das categorias: tradição oral e educação; globalização cultural e transformações sociais na educação; e tradição oral e tecnologia e, finalmente, as conclusões. Entre as considerações mais importantes está a importância da tradição oral na sala de aula devido a seus múltiplos benefícios, relacionando oralidade e tecnologia como uma estratégia do mundo globalizado e utilizando a narrativa transmídia como uma ferramenta para fortalecer a oralidade.
