description The effects of incoherent exciton pumping on a semiconductor nanostructure with spherical geometry that interacts with monochromatic light are studied. The dissipative processes of spontaneous emission and dephasing were considered through the formalism of open quantum systems, using a master equation with Lindblad terms, where incoherent pumping is also included. The perturbative expansion technique was used on the density operator applied on the polarization operator. An expression of linear optical sus- ceptibility was obtained in a nanostructure that includes incoherent pumping. In addition, it was found that the incoherent pumping of excitons does not affect the energetic separation of the levels of the quantum system.

Se estudian los efectos del bombeo incoherente de excitones sobre una nanoestructura semicondutora con geometría esférica que interactua con luz monocromática. Se consideraron los procesos disipativos pér- dida por emisión espontánea y pérdida de fase coherente mediante el formalismo de sistemas cuánticos abiertos, usando una ecuación maestra con términos de Lindblad, donde también se incluye el bombeo incoherente. Se usó la técnica de la expansión perturbativa sobre el operador densidad aplicado sobre el operador de polarización. Se obtuvo una expresión de la susceptibilidad óptica lineal en una nanoestruc- tura que incluye el bombeo incoherente. Además se encontró que el bombeo incoherente de excitones no afecta la separación energética de los niveles del sistema cuántico.
