| description | Agricultural contracting in the Valencian Community (Spain) is related to the Huerta area and the proximity trade of agricultural products. The influence of the Valencian custom is shown in the agricultural field and has been included in the legislation analyzed. The objective of this study is to publicize the form of sale through La Tira de Contar through which the farmer promotes a local culture and food sovereignty through this unique form of transaction, and the consequences that the pandemic has had on the Valencian agricultural area. The methodology used has been the analysis of the legislation and the contribution of the doctrine on this matter. As main results we can indicate that the protection of the legislation of the agrarian contracts and of the Huerta allow the survival of a sector that has been affected by economic factors. The analyzed form of sale and the custom are maintained over time and show an example of adaptation of agriculture. The health crisis caused by the pandemic has produced negative effects, and denotes that agriculture must be subject to future modernization through new technologies. |

La contratación agraria en la Comunitat Valenciana (España) se relaciona con el espacio de la Huerta y el comercio de proximidad de productos agrarios. La influencia de la costumbre valenciana se muestra en el ámbito agrario y ha sido recogida en la legislación analizada. El objetivo de este estudio es dar a conocer la forma de venta a través de La Tira de Contar mediante la cual el agricultor potencia una cultura local y la soberanía alimentaria mediante esta singular forma de transacción, y las consecuencias que ha tenido la pandemia en el ámbito agrario valenciano. La metodología utilizada ha sido el análisis de la legislación y la aportación de la doctrina sobre esta materia. Como principales resultados se puede indicar que la protección de la legislación de los contratos agrarios y de la Huerta permiten la pervivencia de un sector que se ha visto afectado por factores económicos. La forma analizada de venta y la costumbre se mantienen a lo largo del tiempo y muestran un ejemplo de adaptación de la agricultura. La crisis sanitaria por la pandemia ha producido efectos negativos y denota que la agricultura debe ser objeto de una futura modernización a través de las nuevas tecnologías.
