description | The article is associated with the doctoral research "Teachers' beliefs about the teaching of writing with ICT support in basic education in Colombia, in the Port District of Turbo". The study is developed under the qualitative approach, interpretative paradigm. It is a case study with a narrative design involving language teachers. The general objective is to explain the beliefs held by Spanish language teachers, which limit or favor the use of ICT in the teaching and learning process of writing. The categories of analysis were: 1) life history; 2) didactics used by the teacher about language; 3) use of ICT. The results show that the experiences on writing models and the use of ICTs lived during the school and professionalization stages, hinder or favor the teaching of writing. It is evident that to the extent that teachers become familiar with and appropriate technological applications, they will be able to break with traditional paradigms of education and integrate ICT in a pedagogical manner.

El artículo se asocia a la investigación doctoral Creencias docentes sobre la enseñanza de la escritura con apoyo de las TIC en la educación básica en Colombia, en el Distrito Portuario de Turbo. El estudio se desarrolla bajo el enfoque cualitativo, paradigma interpretativo. Es un estudio de caso con diseño narrativo que vincula docentes del área de lenguaje. El objetivo general es explicar las creencias que tienen los docentes de lengua castellana, las cuales limitan o favorecen el uso de las TIC en el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje de la escritura. Las categorías de análisis fueron: 1) historia de vida; 2) didáctica que emplea el docente sobre el lenguaje; 3) uso de las TIC. Los resultados muestran que las experiencias sobre los modelos de escritura y uso de las TIC vividas durante la etapa escolar y de profesionalización, obstaculizan o favorecen la enseñanza de la escritura. Se logra evidenciar que en la medida que el docente se familiarice y apropie de aplicaciones tecnológicas, podrá romper con paradigmas tradicionales de la educación e integrar de manera pedagógica las TIC. O artigo está associado à investigação de doutoramento sobre as crenças dos professores sobre o ensino da escrita com o apoio das TIC no ensino básico na Colômbia, no Distrito Portuário de Turbo. O estudo é desenvolvido sob a abordagem qualitativa, paradigma interpretativo. É um estudo de caso com uma concepção narrativa envolvendo professores de línguas. O objectivo geral é explicar as crenças dos professores de língua espanhola, que limitam ou favorecem a utilização das TIC no processo de ensino e aprendizagem da escrita. As categorias de análise foram: 1) história de vida; 2) didáctica utilizada pelo professor sobre a língua; 3) utilização das TIC. Os resultados mostram que as experiências de modelos de escrita e a utilização das TIC vividas durante as fases escolar e de profissionalização dificultam ou favorecem o ensino da escrita. É evidente que, na medida em que os professores se familiarizem com as aplicações tecnológicas apropriadas, serão capazes de romper com os paradigmas educativos tradicionais e integrar as TIC de uma forma pedagógica.
