description | Taking up the contributions and reflections arising from the forum of the same name, held in October 2020, the text addresses the relevance of participatory mapping in different contexts of dispute, dispossession or territorial vindication experienced in the Latin American region, especially due to the neoliberal extractive model prevailing in their economies. We emphasize the processes followed by the five participating collectives for the elaboration of didactic materials for their implementation. This allows understanding that the guides, booklets and manuals serve firstly as tools for the systematization of experiences that play a practical, pedagogical and political mediation role in the vindication and construction of diverse, counter-hegemonic or resisting territorialities. Secondly, they become instruments for the transmission of knowledge both in the university environment, facilitating the incorporation of new generations to this critical and popular approach to cartography, as well as towards other sectors or territories in similar contexts. Finally, we evidence some of the ethical and pedagogical challenges of these materials of collective elaboration, which more than a product of diffusion, they function as devices of dialogue and reflection from and for the territorial action. |

Retomando los aportes y reflexiones surgidas en el marco del foro homónimo, celebrado en octubre de 2020, en el texto se aborda la pertinencia de la cartografía participativa en diferentes contextos de disputa, despojo o reivindicación territorial que se viven en la región latinoamericana, sobre todo por el modelo extractivo neoliberal que impera en sus economías. Se hace énfasis en los procesos seguidos por los cinco colectivos participantes para la elaboración de materiales didácticos y su implementación. Esto permite entender que las guías, cartillas y manuales sirven en primer lugar como herramientas de sistematización de experiencias que cumplen un papel de mediación práctica, pedagógica y política en la reivindicación y la construcción de territorialidades diversas, contrahegemónicas o en resistencia. En segundo lugar, se convierten en instrumentos de transmisión de conocimientos tanto en el ámbito universitario, facilitando la incorporación de nuevas generaciones a este enfoque crítico y popular de la cartografía, como hacia otros sectores o territorios en contextos similares. Finalmente, evidenciamos algunos de los retos éticos y pedagógicos de estos materiales de elaboración colectiva que, más que un producto de difusión, fungen como dispositivos de diálogo y reflexión desde y para la acción territorial. Retomando as contribuições e reflexões surgidos no âmbito do fórum homônimo, realizado em outubro de 2020, no texto aborda-se a pertinência da cartografia participativa em diferentes contextos de disputa, despojo ou reivindicação territorial que se vivem na região latino-americana, sobretudo pelo modelo extrativo neoliberal que impera em suas economias. A ênfase é colocada nos processos seguidos pelos cinco coletivos participantes para a elaboração de materiais didáticos para sua implementação. Isto permite entender que as guias, cartilhas e manuais servem em primeiro lugar como ferramentas de sistematização de experiências que cumprem um papel de mediação prática, pedagógica e política na reivindicação e a construção de territorialidades diversas, contra-hegemónicas ou em resistência. Em segundo lugar, convertem-se em instrumentos de transmissão de conhecimentos tanto no âmbito universitário, facilitando a incorporação de novas gerações a esta abordagem crítica e popular da cartografia, como a outros sectores ou territórios em contextos similares.
