El pasado 11 de octubre, en calidad de presidente del Sistema Universitario Estatal participé en el “ XIII Congreso Internacional Historia de la Educación Latinoamericana”; evento organizado por la Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia en la conferencia del maestro Boaventura de Sousa Santos. Uno de los sociólogos más importantes de nuestro tiempo; asesor de la comisión de la verdad, quien disertó sobre “la descolonización del saber y reinvención del poder en tiempos de pandemia”; por ello, abordaré una de las tesis expuestas por el profesor Boaventura acerca del peso de la historia, de esa forma, contextualizarla en la realidad nacional. El peso de la historia es variable, hay períodos en los que la historia es pesada y en otros liviana.
