description | Objective: To elaborate an analysis of the study approaches that favored the theoretical construction of school violence in Colombia.
Originality/Contribution: To offer an alternative epistemological entry to the studies on school violence in Colombia that considers the interpretation of the students.
Method: From a critical perspective, the article presents a historical overview of the emergence of research on school violence in Colombia. Emphasis is placed on the years 2006 to 2016, as this is the period with the highest production of this type of research.
Strategies/Information collection: The bibliographic search was carried out digitally with focus on academic and governmental archives, and texts which, in general, had school violence in Colombia as a central theme. This strategy made it possible to establish a relationship between the temporality and the methodological approach of research on Colombian school violence.
Conclusions: the study shows that the psychological approach favored studies on school violence in Colombia, with a focus on the treatment and intervention of aggressive behavior of schoolchildren. The understanding of Colombian school violence was defined by experts who talked about coexistence and school members without considering the voice of the students. |

Objetivo: Analizar los enfoques de estudio que privilegiaron la construcción teórica de la violencia escolar en Colombia. Originalidad / aporte: Ofrecer una entrada epistemológica alternativa a los estudios sobre violencia escolar en Colombia que considere la interpretación de los estudiantes. Método: Desde una perspectiva crítica el artículo presenta un recorrido histórico del surgimiento de investigaciones referidas al tema de la violencia escolar en Colombia, haciendo énfasis en el periodo comprendido entre los años 2006 al 2016, por ser el periodo de mayor producción de este tipo de investigaciones. Estrategias / recolección de la información: La búsqueda de información se hizo desde internet en archivos académicos y gubernamentales, textos que tuvieran como centro de elaboración la violencia escolar en Colombia. Esta estrategia permitió desarrollar una relación entre la temporalidad y el enfoque metodológico de las investigaciones sobre violencia escolar en Colombia. Conclusiones: El enfoque psicológico favoreció los estudios sobre violencia escolar en Colombia, centrándose en el tratamiento e intervención de la conducta agresiva de los escolares. La comprensión de la violencia escolar fue producida por expertos que definieron la violencia escolar colombiana, hablaron de la convivencia en la escuela y de los sujetos de la escuela, sin considerar la voz de los estudiantes. Objectivo: Analisar as abordagens de estudo que privilegiaram a construção teórica da violência escolar na Colômbia. Originalidade / contribuição: Oferecer uma abordagem epistemológica alternativa aos estudos sobre a violência escolar na Colômbia que considere a interpretação dos estudantes. Método: De uma perspectiva crítica, o artigo apresenta um panorama histórico da emergência da investigação sobre o tema da violência escolar na Colômbia, com ênfase no período entre 2006 e 2016, uma vez que este é o período de maior produção deste tipo de investigação. Estratégias/coleta de informações: A pesquisa de informação foi feita a partir da Internet em arquivos académicos e governamentais, textos que tinham a violência escolar na Colômbia como foco de elaboração. Esta estratégia permitiu o desenvolvimento de uma relação entre a temporalidade e a abordagem metodológica da investigação sobre a violência escolar na Colômbia. Conclusões: A abordagem psicológica favoreceu os estudos sobre a violência escolar na Colômbia, centrando-se no tratamento e intervenção do comportamento agressivo das crianças em idade escolar. A compreensão da violência escolar foi produzida por especialistas que definiram a violência escolar colombiana, falaram da coexistência na escola e nas disciplinas escolares, sem considerar a voz dos alunos.
