Summary: | The writer Nieves López Pastor (1901-1978) has not received any observation by critics and academic researchers, even though she was well known in her birth town, Cabra, and in Villanueva del Arzobispo, where she was teacher till her oldness. This study offers the results of an archive research about the life of the author, exposing unknown data which constitutes a key for giving new readings about her work. Also, we offer an analysis of her poems since a theorical perspective based on gender, sexuality and ecofeminism. As consequence of this study, we can find a connection between some occult facts of her private life and a queer reading of her works.
