Summary:The objective of this research results in substantiating the need for an adequate legal treatment of Family Farming with the delivery of land in usufruct, broken down into two branches; on the one hand, analyzing theoretical and doctrinal criteria that make up the content of family agriculture and beneficial ownership, while on the other, the reality of the delivery of land in usufruct and its impact on the development of Family Agriculture is assessed. The methods used are the Theoretical-legal, the Historical-logical, the Exegetical-analytical, the hermeneutic and observation. After its completion, we realize that more accurate doctrinal guidelines are needed for the study in Cuba of family farming, so that it can be promoted from a positive perspective, adapting the regulatory framework at macro and micro levels so that its Thorough knowledge by all those involved and those who may be interested, as well as so that the economic results of those who perform it grow, even without knowing it, which ultimately result in the improvement of the quality of life of the entire population.
