description The present article has as principal object to describe the discoveries made in the systematic review of scientific literature published in academic magazines since 2009 and 2021 in terms of the contributions of visual sociology from a representational understanding of identity in infancy in scholar contexts, around the question “which are the contributions of visual sociology to the representation and identity in research made in scholar contexts?”. For its elaboration, the guidelines of the PRISMA declaration (2020) were followed, enriched by some of the contributions of content analysis exposed by Maurice Duverger (1996). Its analysis and systematization were carried out through the MAXQDA qualitative data analysis software. Consequently, the state of the art is exposed around three fundamental aspects: visual sociology, visual narration, and the representation in the study of children’s identity, and it ends with the contributions of such research in scholar contexts.

El presente artículo tiene como objeto principal describir los hallazgos encontrados en la revisión sistemática de la literatura científica publicada en revistas académicas desde 2009 y 2021, en materia de los aportes de la sociología visual desde una comprensión representacional de la identidad en la infancia en contextos escolares, en torno a la pregunta “¿cuáles son los aportes de la sociología visual a la representación e identidad en investigaciones realizadas en contextos escolares?”. Para su elaboración, se siguieron las directrices de la declaración PRISMA (2020) enriquecidas por algunos de los aportes del análisis de contenido expuestas por Maurice Duverger (1996). Su análisis y sistematización se realizaron a través del software de análisis cualitativos de datos MAXQDA. En consecuencia, se expone el estado del arte en torno a tres aspectos fundamentales: sociología visual, narración visual y representaciones en el estudio de la identidad infantil y se finaliza con los aportes de dichas investigaciones en contextos educativos. O objetivo principal deste artigo é apresentar a descrição dos achados encontrados na revisão sistemática da literatura científica publicada em revistas acadêmicas desde 2009 e 2021 sobre as contribuições da sociologia visual a partir de uma compreensão representacional da identidade na sociedade. . Em relação à pergunta: Quais são as contribuições da sociologia visual, representação e identidade nas pesquisas realizadas em contextos escolares? Para sua elaboração, foram seguidas as diretrizes da declaração PRISMA (2020), enriquecida por algumas das contribuições da análise de conteúdo exposta por Maurice Duverger (1996). E sua análise e sistematização foram realizadas por meio do Software MAXQDA Qualitative Data Analysis. Consequentemente, o estado da arte é exposto em torno de três aspectos fundamentais: sociologia visual, narração visual e representações no estudo da identidade infantil e termina com as contribuições dessas investigações em contextos educacionais.
