description Doctorates in Colombia intending research development are of recent creation  mostly at the end of the XX century. These have been originated on account of both the university conception change and the knowledge globalization. In Colombia, Doctorates present an exuberant legislation in the XXI century, which is away from the educational reality that is not able to be transformed. As a matter of fact, Doctorates in education have been created with the organizational peculiarity of academic Nets. In the case of RUDECOLOMBIA, since the identity construction of the Net, it is projected with educational regional development objectives and with projects og nation construction.

In the case of RUDECOLOMBIA, since the identity construction of the Net, it is projected with educational regional development objectives and with projects og nation construction. Los doctorados en Colombia, con el carácter de desarrollar investigación, son de reciente  creación  de  finales  del  siglo XX. Estos  se  originan  por  el  cambio  en  la concepción de la universidad y por la globalización del conocimiento. En Colombia,los doctorados presentan una exuberante legislación en el siglo XXI que está aislada de una realidad educativa que no logra transformarse y concretar políticas y mecanismos que  impulsen  la  formación doctoral. Por  su parte,  los doctorados en educación,  se crean  con  la  peculiaridad  organizativa  de Redes  académicas.  En  el  caso  de RUDECOLOMBIA, desde la construcción de la identidad de la Red, se proyecta con objetivos de desarrollo regional educativo y con proyectos de construcción de nación.
