description | This article presents the design process of a series of digital content (video game and editable primers) for the formation of economic and financial knowledge in high school students in Santander (Colombia). The design of the materials was carried out based on the results obtained with the implementation of the Design-Based Research methodology. From a sample of 107 high school students who participated in the testing phase, it is concluded that the digital content designed is a didactic resource that favors the learning of economic and financial concepts. This is because they encourage the practice of argumentative skills and allow the expression of their opinions on situations of daily life that are affected by bad financial decisions. In addition, they are contents that students recognize as necessary in their learning processes and as fundamental elements that allow them to learn in a better way. |

Este artículo presenta el proceso de diseño de una serie de contenidos digitales (videojuego y cartillas editables) para la formación de conocimientos económicos y financieros en los estudiantes de educación media de Santander (Colombia). El diseño de los materiales se realizó a partir de los resultados obtenidos con la implementación de la metodología de Investigación Basada en Diseño. A partir de una muestra de 107 estudiantes de educación media que participaron en la fase de testeo, se concluye que los contenidos digitales diseñados son un recurso didáctico que favorece el aprendizaje de conceptos económicos y financieros. Esto ya que fomentan la práctica de habilidades argumentativas y permiten la expresión de sus opiniones sobre situaciones de la vida cotidiana que se vean afectadas por malas decisiones financieras. Además, son contenidos que los estudiantes reconocen como necesarios en sus procesos de aprendizaje y como elementos fundamentales que les permiten aprender de una mejor manera.
