El desarrollo del pensamiento crítico es considerado relevante, puesto que este se encuentra catalogado como una competencia que se debe incorporar en el sistema educativo como una habilidad blanda a fin de formar niños críticos; así mismo, un niño desde los primeros niveles educativos requiere preguntar, explorar y compartir lo que saben. En el proyecto de investigación se planteó fortalecimiento del pensamiento crítico a partir del método científico en los estudiantes del grado segundo tres de la I.E. Técnico Comercial “Sagrado Corazón de Jesús” del municipio de Chiquinquirá, teniendo en cuenta los aportes teóricos de quienes afirman que las habilidades del pensamiento crítico son consideradas como mecanismos cognitivos que facilitan la interpretación y selección de información con el propósito de tomar decisiones y proponer hipótesis. O desenvolvimento do pensamento crítico é considerado relevante, uma vez que é catalogado como uma competência que deve ser incorporada no sistema educacional como uma habilidade suave a fim de formar crianças críticas, da mesma forma que uma criança dos primeiros níveis de ensino requer perguntar, explorar e partilhar o que sabe. No projecto de investigação, o reforço do pensamento crítico baseado no método científico foi proposto aos estudantes do I.E Técnico Comercial “Sagrado Corazón de Jesús” do município de Chiquinquirá, tendo em conta as contribuições teóricas daqueles que afirmam que as competências de pensamento crítico são consideradas como mecanismos cognitivos que facilitam a interpretação e selecção da informação com o objectivo de tomar decisões e propor hipóteses.
