Located in the Municipality of Tunja, in terms of mathematical skills, communication, representation and modeling, reasoning and argumentation, and problem posing and solving. The study focused on strengthening metric thinking. The construction of the theoretical framework that supports the research is metric mathematical thinking. The methodology used is research - action, under the gaze of the qualitative approach. Similarly, a sample of 76 students from grades 902 and 906 were taken as research subjects. Said proposal will be executed in three application phases. Diagnostic phase to identify the level of development of metric thinking in students. Pedagogical intervention phase, with a proposal of the didactic sequences for strengthening the area, perimeter, problem solving and finally the evaluation phase through a closing test, in order to assess the impact of the research-action strategy developed. |

Esta investigación tuvo como propósito la implementación de secuencias didácticas, para fortalecer el pensamiento métrico, mediante la utilización de la huerta casera y los PhET, partiendo de la necesidad que presenta en las carencias y bajo nivel de desempeño evidenciado en las estudiantes de grado noveno 902 y 906, en las pruebas saber 2017- 2018, en la Institución Educativa Escuela Normal Superior Leonor Álvarez Pinzón, ubicada en el Municipio de Tunja, en cuanto a las competencias matemáticas, comunicación, representación y modelación, razonamiento y argumentación y planteamiento y resolución de problemas. El estudio se centró en el fortalecimiento del pensamiento métrico, por lo tanto, la construcción del marco teórico que fundamenta la investigación es el pensamiento matemático métrico. La metodología utilizada es de investigación - acción, bajo la mirada del enfoque cualitativo. De igual manera se tomó como sujetos de investigación una muestra de 76 estudiantes de los grados 902 y 906. La propuesta se ejecutó en tres fases de aplicación. Fase diagnóstica para identificar el nivel de desarrollo del pensamiento métrico en las estudiantes. Fase de intervención pedagógica, con una propuesta de las secuencias didácticas para el fortalecimiento de área, perímetro, resolución de problemas y finalmente la fase de evaluación mediante una prueba de cierre, con el objeto de valorar el impacto de la estrategia de investigación desarrollada. O objetivo desta pesquisa foi a implementação de sequências didáticas, para fortalecer o pensamento métrico, por meio do uso da horta e do PhET, a partir da necessidade que este apresenta nas insuficiências e baixo nível de desempenho evidenciado nos alunos do nono año 902 e 906, nas provas de sabre 2017-2018, na Instituição de Ensino da Escola Normal Superior Leonor Álvarez Pinzón. Localizado no Município de Tunja, em termos de habilidades matemáticas, comunicação, representação e modelagem, raciocínio e argumentação, e apresentação e resolução de problemas. O estudo se concentrou no fortalecimento do pensamento métrico. A construção do referencial teórico que sustenta a pesquisa é o pensamento matemático métrico. A metodologia utilizada é a pesquisa - ação, sob o olhar da abordagem qualitativa. Da mesma forma, foi considerada como sujeitos da pesquisa uma amostra de 76 alunos das séries 902 e 906. A referida proposta será executada em três fases de aplicação. Fase de diagnóstico para identificar o nível de desenvolvimento do pensamento métrico nos alunos. Fase de intervenção pedagógica, com a proposição das sequências didáticas de reforço da área, perímetro, resolução de problemas e pôr fim a fase de avaliação através de um teste de encerramento, de forma a avaliar o impacto da estratégia de investigação-ação desenvolvida.
