description The investigation points to a reality inside Institución Educativa in front of the reading process of First grade and Second grade students, that process makes a fundamental curiosity in researchers, creating a challenge for those who have interest in rethinking and redirecting children’s formation, presenting the importance of the experiences which have been faced by the kids in this process, in addition to this, the environment features are recognized inside the institution in regards to the teacher practices that are done in there. It constitutes a compendium of experiences and reading experiences of children, having reading as its main theme, supported by authors who describe the theoretical concept of this category of research, in which the educational activity is developed describing in detail the reading process that It is carried out in the Liceo Colombo Inglés Educational Institution of the municipality of Chiquinquirá, starting from the analysis of the reading experiences of the children taking into account the teaching practices and the importance of research for the teacher, remembering at the same time that the autobiography is the main analysis instrument regarding the process of experiences provided by children in their approach to reading.

La investigación señala la realidad en una Institución Educativa frente al proceso de lectura en estudiantes de primero y segundo grado, dicho proceso origina curiosidad fundamental en los investigadores, generando un reto para quienes interesa repensar y reorientar la formación de los niños, presentando la importancia de las experiencias y vivencias a las cuales se enfrentan los niños en el proceso mencionado, así mismo se reconocen las características del entorno en el que se presenta en la Institución de acuerdo a las prácticas docentes que allí se realizan. Se constituye en compendio de experiencias y vivencias lectoras de los niños, teniendo como tema principal la lectura, apoyados en autores que describen el concepto teórico de esta categoría de investigación, en el que se desarrolla la actividad educativa describiendo de forma minuciosa el proceso de lectura que se realiza en la Institución Educativa Liceo Colombo Inglés del municipio de Chiquinquirá, partiendo del análisis de las experiencias lectoras de los niños teniendo en cuenta las prácticas docentes y la importancia de la investigación para el docente, recordando al mismo tiempo que la autobiografía es el principal instrumento de análisis en cuanto al proceso de experiencias aportados por los niños en su acercamiento a la lectura. A investigação aponta a realidade numa Instituição de Ensino relativamente ao processo de leitura nos alunos do primeiro e segundo graus, este processo origina uma curiosidade fundamental nos investigadores, gerando um desafio para aqueles que estão interessados em repensar e reorientar a formação das crianças, apresentando a importância das experiências e vivências a que as crianças se deparam no referido processo, da mesma forma que as características do ambiente em que é apresentado na Instituição são reconhecidas de acordo com as práticas pedagógicas que aí são realizadas. Constitui um compêndio de experiências e experiências de leitura das crianças, tendo a leitura como tema principal, apoiado por autores que descrevem o conceito teórico desta categoria de investigação, em que se desenvolve a actividade educativa descrevendo em pormenor o processo de leitura que tem lugar na Instituição Educativa Liceo Colombo Escola Inglesa do Município de Chiquinquirá, partindo da análise das experiências de leitura das crianças tendo em conta as práticas pedagógicas e a importância da investigação para o professor, lembrando ao mesmo tempo que a autobiografia é o principal instrumento de análise em termos do processo de experiências contribuído pelas crianças na sua abordagem à leitura.
