description This communication is situated in the domain of Science Education with an Intercultural Approach and aims to establish thematic areas that have emerged from currents studying Intercultural Sensitivity focused on the educational context. The methodology used is based on Bibliographic Information Mapping, where 101 articles were retrieved from databases such as Redylac, Eryc, Dialnet, and Scopus. Nine thematic areas associated with Intercultural Sensitivity in education emerge from this. The works found date from 2001 to 2022, with a significant growth in Latin America, North America, and Europe. Furthermore, there is a significant contribution in the fields of Adaptation and Intercultural Dialogue. It is concluded that the retrieved works provide alternatives that contribute from current educational settings to intercultural scientific education by identifying of relationships between cultures, which are mediated by the development of intercultural competencies that enhance and expand areas of contact with the other.

El presente estudio se sitúa en el campo de la Enseñanza de las Ciencias con Enfoque Intercultural y tiene como objetivo establecer campos temáticos que han surgido desde las corrientes que estudian la Sensibilidad Intercultural enfocada al contexto educativo. La metodología utilizada se plantea a partir del Mapeamiento Informacional Bibliográfico en el que se recuperaron 101 artículos encontrados en bases de datos como Redylac, Eryc, Dialnet y Scopus. De allí surgen nueve campos temáticos que asocian la Sensibilidad Intercultural en la educación. Se encuentran trabajos que datan del año 2001 hasta el 2022, teniendo un importante auge en Latinoamérica, Norteamérica y Europa. Además, se muestra una gran contribución en los campos Adaptación y Diálogo Intercultural.Se concluye que los trabajos recuperados brindan alternativas que contribuyen, desde los escenarios educativos actuales, a la formación científica intercultural al identificar relaciones entre culturas, las cuales están mediadas por el desarrollo de competencias interculturales que potencian y amplían las zonas de contacto con el otro. Esta comunicação está situada no domínio da Educação Científica com uma Abordagem Intercultural e tem como objetivo estabelecer áreas temáticas que surgiram das correntes que estudam a Sensibilidade Intercultural centrada no contexto educacional. A metodologia utilizada é baseada no Mapeamento de Informação Bibliográfica, onde foram recuperados 101 artigos de bases de dados como REDYLAC, ERYC, DIALNET e SCOPUS. Nove áreas temáticas surgem disso, associando a Sensibilidade Intercultural na educação. As obras encontradas datam de 2001 a 2022, com um crescimento significativo na América Latina, América do Norte e Europa. Além disso, há uma contribuição significativa nos campos da Adaptação e do Diálogo Intercultural. A conclusão destaca que o cenário educacional atual reflete novas formas de relações culturais, mediadas pelo desenvolvimento de competências interculturais que promovem e ampliam as áreas de contato com outros.
