However, along with the idea of global village, there arise some local, personal, and group reactions that claim nationalist feelings as well as beliefs, cultural bonds, and collective identities, creating conflict situations, intolerance, and non-acceptance of differences. In this context, it happens to be more useful for social life to educate new generations based on criteria to live together in multicultural and pluralistic environments than to root out prejudices, violence and marginalization arising from intolerable and exclusive ways of thinking. Therefore, teaching of philosophy keeps valid as a reflection school space where it is possible to discuss, formulate, and assume points of views ethically sustainable and rationally justified that contribute to strengthen a peaceful, democratic and respectful-of-human-dignity civic coexistence |

Pero junto a la idea de aldea global aparecen también reacciones locales, personales y grupales que reivindican los sentimientos nacionalistas, las creencias, los lazos culturales y las identidades colectivas, generando situaciones de conflicto, intolerancia y no aceptación de las diferencias. En este contexto, resulta mucho más beneficioso para la vida en sociedad educar a las nuevas generaciones en criterios para convivir en ambientes multiculturales y plurales que intentar extirar los prejuicios, la violencia y la marginación que resultan de formas de pensar intolerantes y excluyentes. Por tal motivo, la educación filosófica mantiene plena validez como espacio de reflexión escolar en donde es posible discutir, formular y asumir puntos de vista éticamente sostenibles y racionalmente justificados que contribuyan a solidificar una convivencia ciudadana pacífica,democrática y respetuosa de la dignidad humana. les sociétés actuelles ont tendance à être de plus en plus ouvertes, plurielles et multiculturelles par suite d’un monde globalisé qui touche, de différentes manières, les styles de vie des individus et des communautés. mais, à côté de cette idée de village planétaire, apparaissent également des réactions locales, personnelles et groupales, revendiquant les sentiments nationalistes, les croyances, les liens culturels et les identités collectives, générant des situations de conflits, d’intolérance et de non acceptation des différences. dans ce contexte, il se révèle beaucoup plus bénéfique pour la vie en société, d’éduquer les nouvelles générations selon des critères de cohabitation dans des milieux multiculturels et pluriels que d’essayer d’extirper les préjugés, la violence et la marginalisation résultant des manières de penser intolérantes et exclusives. pour cette raison, l’éducation philosophique doit être maintenue en vigueur comme un espace de réflexion scolaire où il est possible de discuter, de formuler et d’assumer des points de vue pouvant être soutenus d’une manière éthique et justifiés de manière rationnelle et qui contribuent à concréter une coexistence citoyenne pacifique, démocratique et respectueuse de la dignité humaine. As sociedades atuais acercam-se cada vez mais a serem abertas, plurais e multiculturais como consequência de um mundo globalizado que afeta de distintas maneiras os estilos de vida de indivíduos e comunidades. Mas, junto à ideia de aldeia global aparecem também reações locais, individuais e grupais que reivindicam os sentimentos nacionalistas, as crenças, os vínculos culturais e as identidades coletivas, gerando situações de conflito, intolerância e não aceitação das diferenças. Neste contexto resulta bem melhor para a vida em sociedade educar às novas gerações em critérios para conviver em ambientes multiculturais e plurais que tentem eliminar o preconceito, a violência e a marginalização que resultam de formas de pensar intolerantes e excludentes. Por causa disso a educação filosófica mantém plena validez como espaço de reflexão escolar onde seja possível discutir, formular e assumir pontos de vista eticamente sustentáveis e racionalmente justificados que contribuam a solidificar uma convivência cidadã pacífica, democrática e respeitosa da dignidade humana.
