Cualquier persona que ha sido víctima de un delito, se encuentra cuando menos, consternada, frustrada, sin saber en muchas ocasiones qué hacer, máxime si estos delitos se cometen por la pareja o expareja, por el vínculo que les une. Por tal motivo los profesionales que se dedican al campo de la intervención con mujeres víctimas de violencia de género en las relaciones de pareja, o en otra situación, es conveniente que adquieran una especial sensibilización y empatía cuando tengan que intervenir con estas personas, dado en el estado de vulnerabilidad en el que se encuentran.
