En el presente trabajo se abordan los fundamentos teóricos y conceptuales relacionados con la aloración económica de bienes y servicios ambientales para el diseño de un modelo metodológico, así como enfoques para la categorización, identificación y clasificación de dichos bienes en el municipio de Miraflores. Se aplica la valoración de la “Cascada el Ombligo”, de manera que permita la toma de decisiones sobre un proyecto de creación de un parque natural en dicha reserva hídrica.
