description | A reflection on the role of writing in the development of scientific knowledge is made in order to show how science and technology fit a special writing. This descriptive study analyzed the formation of a written scientific language as a private discourse that wove its own terminology. This reflection highlights the ongoing construction of a special discourse genre in private places such as universities. A type of writing that carries a teleological distinction in contrast to other types, due to its accurate and objective requirements. Thus, the technoscientific legacy is contained mainly in a standardized writing that allows consultation and faster recoveries. The scientific articles and the research books are essential repositories of science and technology, documents like papers, reports and thesis form the so-called gray literature. The study concludes that science writing, for its specialty, specificity and purpose, is necessarily exclusive. The Science known by citizens comes through educational textbooks and scientific divulgation –mediating writings that transform technical terms to make science understandable to non-specialists |

Para ello, este estudio descriptivo analizó la formación del lenguaje científico escrito como un discurso privado que entretejió una terminología propia. Esta reflexión evidencia la construcción permanente de un género discursivo especial en lugares privados como las universidades. Una escritura que conlleva distinción teleológica que contrasta con los demás tipos de escritos, por sus requisitos de precisión y objetividad. Así, el acervo tecnocientífico se alberga, principalmente, en una escritura normalizada que permite consultas y recuperaciones rápidas. El artículo científico y los libros de investigación son los repositorios esenciales de la ciencia y la tecnología, los documentos como ponencias, informes y tesis conforman la llamada literatura gris. El estudio concluye que la escritura de la ciencia, por su especialidad, especificidad y propósito, es necesariamente excluyente. La ciencia que conocen los ciudadanos llega a través de textos educativos y de divulgación científica, escrituras mediadoras que transforman términos técnicos para hacer comprensible la ciencia a los no especialistas. Une réflexion sur le rôle de l’écriture dans le développement de la connaissance scientifique pour démontrer la manière dont la science et la technologie encadrent une écriture spéciale. Pour ce faire, cette étude descriptive analyse la formation du langage scientifique écrit comme un discours privé qui a introduit une terminologie propre. Cette réflexion met en évidence la construction permanente d’un genre discursif spécial dans des lieux privés tels que les universités. Une écriture qui implique une distinction téléologique contrastant avec les autres genres d’écrits, pour ses exigences de précision et d’objectivité. Ainsi, l’acquis technoscientifique se trouve, principalement, dans une écriture normalisée qui permet des consultations et des récupérations rapides. L’article scientifique et les livres de recherche sont les bases essentielles de la science et de la technologie, les documents tels que les communications, les rapports et les thèses conforment la littérature dite grise. L’étude conclut que l’écriture de la science, de par sa spécialité, sa spécificité et son objectif, est nécessairement exclusive. La science connue des citoyens nous parvient au moyen de textes éducatifs et d’information scientifique, des écritures médiatrices qui transforment des textes techniques pour rendre la science compréhensible aux non spécialistes.
