Summary: | The text consists of an approach from a critical perspective of social pedagogy to the concept of "interculturalism". Part of the consideration of the "inter" or "in between", questions its significance in various speeches of some of the disciplines which are dedicated to this topic, particularly anthropology and philosophy. Then, the text places the concept of "in between" in the interstitial logic that leads to the concept of "hybridization". From these theoretical considerations, an experiment carried out in Barcelona is tackled. There you can see how to meet and mix elements of different cultural backgrounds that lead to productive and cultural dynamics not previously planned. These dynamics involve specialists in high digital technologies, neighbors, teachers and students at neighborhood schools, senior citizens, etc. This is a space "in between" or a hybrid, and its effects are not predictable.
