En este artículo se hace una reflexión sobre la influencia cultural de organizaciones contemporáneas con estructuras des-jerarquizadas y procesos internos no secuenciales, que el profesor Richard Sennet ha llamado organizaciones MP3. A partir de las estructuras organizacionales descritas por Álvaro Zapata, la distinción entre trabajo y labor de Hannah Arendt, los mecanismos de vigilancia foucaultianos y una contextualización en Colombia, se analiza la baja lealtad institucional, la disminución de la confianza informal entre quienes laboran y el debilitamiento del conocimiento institucional.
