Thanks to their struggle, these crimes have attracted the attention of the United Nations and the Argentine Justice, attention that have not obtained in the institutions of Spain. The objectives of the memorial movement are repair the dignity of the victims by the State, recognizing the rights of victims, put an end to impunity for the crimes of the dictatorship and restore the memory of the Second Republic and the Constitution of 1931. |

La persistencia de las víctimas del franquismo y su movilización por la recuperación de la memoria histórica han conseguido rescatar del olvido los crímenes del franquismo, un olvido programado por las elites políticas en la Transición. Gracias a su lucha, estos crímenes han merecido la atención de las Naciones Unidas y de la justicia argentina, una atención que no han obtenido en España desde las instituciones. Los objetivos del movimiento memorialista son reparar la dignidad de las víctimas por parte del Estado, reconocer los derechos de las víctimas, terminar con la impunidad de los crímenes de la dictadura y recuperar la memoria de la Segunda República y la Constitución de 1931.
