Este artículo presenta los resultados de una investigación sobre los estilos de aprendizaje de los estudiantes de primer semestre de ingeniería de la Universidad El Bosque - UNIBOSQUE y de la Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia - UPTC, a quienes se aplicó el test de Kolb, con muestreo estratificado. Ante la diversidad de estilos de aprendizaje encontrados, se propone que los docentes sean conscientes del principio de justicia en el aula y de su responsabilidad moral para procurar un diseño y ejecución de curso, que ofrezcan condiciones equitativas y propicien ambientes adecuados para el aprendizaje de la totalidad de los estudiantes.
