Through the identification of the most read works of literature in Colombia during this year, and based on the impact of these works on public opinion and culture, this study analyzes the relation between individual-society-violence, with the objective of visibilizing certain organizational processes during the 1960s and 70s, not only in Colombia but in Latin America. This article is divided into three independent but interconnected sections, each one of which analyzes some of the most important objects of literary consumption of the time and ends with a study of the incidence of these texts on the Colombian population. |

Este artículo analiza algunas obras literarias recepcionadas en Colombia durante el año de 1968 con el fin de ofrecer una mirada de la sociedad, el individuo y la violencia como representación social e indicador de impacto cultural. Mediante la identificación de tres tópicos, el individuo, la violencia y la sociedad, se intentará realizar un acercamiento al consumo literario en Colombia como un indicador del deseo de cambio, articulado a la revolución cultural planetaria de 1968. A través de la identificación de los textos más leídos en Colombia durante este año, y con base en su impacto en la opinión pública y en la cultura, se analizará la relación individuo-violencia-sociedad con el objetivo de visibilizar algunos procesos organizativos de los años sesenta y setenta no solo en Colombia sino en América Latina. Por tanto, el artículo está dividido en tres grandes apartados independientes pero interconectados y en cada uno de los cuales, se hace un análisis de algunos de los consumos literarios más importantes de esta época y cada apartado finaliza con el estudio de la incidencia de estos textos en la población colombiana. Cet article analyse quelques œuvres littéraires dont les comptes rendus ont été publiés en Colombie en 1968 ain d’offrir une vue d’ensemble sur la société, l’individu et la violence en tant représentation sociale et marqueur de l’impact culturel. A travers ces trois catégories, le texte fait une approche de la consommation littéraire en Colombie comme marqueur du désir de changement, articulé à la révolution culturelle planétaire de 1968. L’identiication des textes les plus lus en Colombie pendant cette année et de leur impact dans l’opinion publique et la culture permettent d’entreprendre l’analyse du rapport individue-violence-société ain de rendre visibles quelques processus associatifs des années 60 et 70, non seulement en Colombie, mais aussi en Amérique Latine. L’article compte trois parties, indépendantes mais reliées entre elles, et dans chacune d’entre elles d’importantes œuvres littéraires de l’époque sont analysées ainsi que leur incidence dans la population colombienne.
