description | This article presents a comparative study of the curricula of Chile, Argentina and Colombia, regarding the treatment given to historical memory. The methodology used is qualitative. The use of analytical tools has allowed for the codiication of content; the om issions as well as the objectives proposed in the curricula regarding contemporary history. Among the main results, it can be highlighted that the programs of the three countries coincide in including the recent past as well as topics related to human rights, the dictatorships and political violence. However, their incorporation is carried out from the oficial perspective of the government, without problematizing the processes, while promoting aspects related to «national reconciliation». This situation impedes the creation of a space for the criticism of, and relection on, the events that have taken place and the possibilities of citizens to participate in the protection of human rights. |

El presente artículo trata sobre un estudio comparado de los currículos de Chile, Argentina y Colombia en torno al tratamiento que se les da a la memoria histórica. La metodología utilizada es de tipo cualitativa. El uso de herramientas analíticas ha permitido codiicar el contenido, las omisiones así como las inalidades planteadas en los currículos en torno a la historia reciente. Entre los principales resultados, podemos destacar que los programas de los tres países coinciden en incluir el pasado cercano, así como temas relacionados con los Derechos Humanos, las dictaduras y la violencia política. No obstante, la inclusión es realizada desde la perspectiva oicial del gobierno, sin problematizar los procesos y promoviendo aspectos relacionados con la «reconciliación nacional». Esta circunstancia impide generar los espacios de crítica y de relexión en torno a los hechos acontecidos, así como en las posibilidades desde la ciudadanía para participar en la protección de los Derechos Humanos. Cet article mène une étude comparée du traitement donné à la mémoire historique dans les programmes scolaires chiliens, argentins et colombiens. Pour ce faire, nous nous servons d’une méthodologie de type qualitatif : l’emploi d’outils analytiques nous a permis de codiier le contenu, les lacunes et les objectifs afichés par les programmes en ce qui concerne l’histoire récente. Il est important de souligner que dans les trois cas étudiés les programmes incorporent le passé récent, de même que les droits de l’homme, les dictatures etla violence politique. Toutefois, cette incorporation est faite d’accord avec perspective du gouvernement, sans mettre en question les processus et en privilégiant les aspects liés à la « réconciliation nationale ». Ce trait empêche de générer des espaces critiques et de rélexion autour de ces événements et de donner aux citoyens la possibilité de prendre part à la défense des droits de l’homme.
