The present article analyzes the methodology of Problem-Based Learning as a strategy that allows strengthening the subject of law in the classroom in secondary students, responding to training in and for human rights that makes possible the development of a society in peace and better for all. La educación debe contribuir a la construcción de una sociedad que acoja la democracia como forma de vida, lo cual exige también la constitución de sujetos de derechos que con sus acciones ayuden a generar la paz y a contrarrestar la inequidad. Para ello es necesario orientar los procesos pedagógicos a través de métodos que permitan fortalecer en los estudiantes habilidades y capacidades para relacionarse con los otros y adquirir los conocimientos necesarios, interiorizarlos y llevarlos a la práctica. El presente artículo analiza la metodología del aprendizaje basado en problemas,como una estrategia que permite fortalecer al sujeto de derechos en el aula de clase -en estudiantes de secundaria-, respondiendo a una formación en y para los derechos humanos, que haga posible el desarrollo de una sociedad en paz y mejor para todos.
