The process of institutionalization of the military force reverberated in the interpersonal area in the individuals who took part in the militias and the regular army during the irst half of the 19th century. The popular groups, most of them members of the tropes, had changes in their daily life, in their roles and identities in the socio-politic ield. That led to their participation in the public space and practice series of “tactics” and resistance ways faces up the requirements come from the political power.

El trabajo analiza el impacto de la militarización de la sociedad a partir de los cambios políticos experimentados con la Revolución de Mayo de 1810 en Buenos Aires y sus repercusiones en Tucumán. El proceso de institucionalización de la fuerza militar repercutió en el ámbito interpersonal en los individuos que formaron parte de las milicias y el ejército regular durante la primera mitad del siglo XIX. Los sectores populares, en su mayoría miembros de las tropas, experimentaron cambios en sus formas de vida cotidiana,  en sus roles e identidades dentro del ámbito socio-político, que  llevaron a su participación en el espacio público y a la puesta en práctica de una serie de “tácticas” y formas de resistencia ante las exigencias emanadas desde el poder político.
