description | This work is the result of a research project carried out in public schools in the Achagua and Piapoco indigenous communities, located in the municipality of Puerto López in Meta. The approach seeks to explore the sense of education implemented in public education, in contrast to that one of adulthood developed by schoolchildren belonging to the mentioned indigenous reservations. This exploratory study of an ethnographic nature was aimed at identifying the reasons for the high-school dropout among students living in the reservation through the use of data collection strategies such as interviews and social cartography. Based on the collected information, a series of emerging categories was established on the basis of the ideas of the mestizo education and other western or artificial perspectives that enter into relationship with a group of communities having a tendency to be westernized due to the lack of an intercultural school and as a consequence of the strong influence of the Protestant churches, the new companies in the area and public school. |

El presente trabajo surge de un proyecto investigativo adelantado en las escuelas públicas de las comunidades indígenas Achagua y Piapoco, ubicadas en el municipio de Puerto López, Meta. La propuesta pretende indagar los sentidos de formación implementados en la escuela pública, en contraste con los sentidos de adultez desarrollados en los escolares pertenecientes a los mencionados resguardos indígenas. Este estudio exploratorio de corte etnográfico tuvo por objetivo reconocer las causas de la deserción escolar en los estudiantes del resguardo, para lo cual se usaron estrategias de recolección de información como la entrevista y la cartografía social. A partir de la información recolectada se estableció una serie de categorías emergentes, partiendo de las propuestas de escuela mestiza y demás perspectivas impostadas u occidentales, que entran en relación con un grupo de comunidades tendientes a occidentalizarse ante la ausencia de una escuela intercultural, y como consecuencia de la fuerte influencia de las iglesias protestantes, las nuevas empresas de la zona y la escuela pública. Le présent travail est issu d’un projet de recherche réalisé dans les écoles publiques des communautés indigènes Achagua et Piapoco, situées dans la municipalité de Puerto López en Meta. La démarche vise à enquêter sur le sens de l’éducation implémenté à l’école publique, en comparaison avec celui de l’âge adulte développé chez les écoliers appartenant aux réserves indigènes mentionnées. Cette étude exploratoire de nature ethnographique a eu pour objectif d’identifier les causes de l’abandon scolaire parmi les élèves de la réserve autochtone, en utilisant des stratégies de collecte de données comme l’entretien et la cartographie sociale. À partir de l’information collectée, une série de catégories émergentes a été établie sur la base des idées de l’école métisse et des autres perspectives artificielles ou occidentales qui entrent en relation avec un groupe de communautés ayant tendance à être occidentalisées en raison du manque d’une école interculturelle et comme une conséquence de la forte influence des églises protestantes, des nouvelles entreprises de la zone et de l’école publique. A proposta pretende indagar os sentidos de formação aplicados na escola pública, em contraste com os sentidos de idade adulta desenvolvidos nos escolares pertencentes aos mencionados resguardos indígenas. Este estudo exploratório de corte etnográfico teve por objetivo reconhecer as causas da deserção escolar nos estudantes do resguardo, para o qual foram utilizadas estratégias de recopilação de informação como a entrevista e a cartografia social. A partir da informação recopilada se estabeleceu uma série de categorias emergentes, partindo das propostas de escola mestiça e demais perspectivas impostadas ou ocidentais, que entram em relação com um grupo de comunidades tendentes a ocidentalizarse ante a ausência de uma escola intercultural, e como consequência da forte influência das igrejas protestantes, as novas empresas da zona e a escola pública.
