We exemplify their role in a teaching unit called Gifts of the 36 -Women of the 36- dedicated to recall the role of Republican women during the Spanish Civil War, the Franquism and the transition to democracy.

En este artículo nos preguntamos por qué las mujeres son invisibles en la enseñanza de la historia y desarrollamos algunos supuestos sobre las razones de esta invisibilidad. Analizamos el lugar que la mujer ocupa en el currículo de ciencias sociales e historia de Cataluña para reivindicar su presencia en los textos y en las prácticas. Ejemplificamos su protagonismo en una unidad didáctica denominada Dones del 36 –Mujeres del 36- dedicada a recordar el papel de las mujeres republicanas durante la Guerra Civil española, el franquismo y  la transición a la democracia.
