description Duality, seen from a history of eurocentric philosophy between mythical rationality and philosophical rationality, marks an important point in the development of Western thought and its effects on other ways of looking at the world. This situation, which has been proposed among the ancients, takes shape in Latin America and in all political-pedagogical institutions in charge of training subjects of history, where philosophy is understood as cultural production denouncing the cover-up of others. This text provides an analysis of the main characteristics of a myth not only as the background of philosophical and then scientific rationality, but as a constituent element thereof. In other words, it does not disappear; on the contrary, it coexists. Likewise, from a dialectical reading, it is intended to vindicate the mythical rationality on which the explanation of its concrete historical and cultural reality was based, having as reference the Five Element theory and the analogy presented in Native cultures. At the conclusion, a practical exemplification of the foregoing is presented.

La dualidad, asumida desde una historia de la filosofía eurocéntrica, entre la racionalidad mítica y la racionalidad filosófica, marca un punto importante para el desarrollo del pensamiento occidental y sus efectos en otras formas de ver el mundo. Dicha situación, propuesta entre los antiguos, hoy toma vigencia para América Latina y todas aquellas instituciones político-pedagógicas encargadas de la formación de sujetos histórico, donde, la filosofía se entiende como producción cultural que denuncia el encubrimiento del otro. En este escrito se hace un análisis de las principales características del mito, entendiéndolo no solo como antecedente de la racionalidad filosófica y luego científica, sino como un elemento constitutivo de la misma, es decir que no desaparece; por el contrario, coexiste. Asimismo, se pretende, desde una lectura dialéctica, revindicar la racionalidad mítica bajo la cual se soportaba la explicación de su realidad histórico-cultural concreta, teniendo como referencia la teoría de los cinco elementos originarios y la analogía que se presenta en las culturas nativas. Como conclusión, se presenta una ejemplificación práctica de lo expuesto anteriormente. La dualité, vue à partir de l’histoire de la philosophie eurocentrique entre la rationalité mythique et la rationalité philosophique, marque un tournant important dans le développement de la pensée occidentale et ses effets sur d‘autres façons de concevoir le monde. Cette situation, proposée par les anciens, prend forme en Amérique Latine et dans toutes les institutions politiques et pédagogiques, chargées de la formation de sujets historiques, où la philosophie est comprise comme une production culturelle dénonçant la dissimulation d’autrui. Ce texte fait une analyse des principales caractéristiques du mythe pour le comprendre, non seulement comme un antécédent de la rationalité philosophique et puis scientifique, mais comme un élément constitutif de celle-ci ; c’est-à-dire qui ne disparaît pas, au contraire, il coexiste. De même, sur le plan d’une lecture dialectique, son objectif est de faire valoir la rationalité mythique sur laquelle l’explication de sa réalité historique et culturelle concrète était fondée, en tenant comme référence la Théorie des cinq Éléments et l’analogie présentée dans les cultures autochtones. Comme point culminant, une exemplification pratique de ce qui précède est présentée. Dita situação, proposta entre os antigos hoje toma vigência para América Latina e todas aquelas instituições político-pedagógicas encarregadas da formação de sujeitos históricos, onde, a filosofia se entende como produção cultural que denuncia o encobrimento do outro. Este escrito faz uma análise das principais características do mito, entendendo-o não só como antecedente da racionalidade filosófica e depois científica, sina como um elemento constitutivo da mesma, isto é que não desaparece; pelo contrário, coexiste. Assim mesmo, pretende-se, desde uma leitura dialética, reivindicar a racionalidade mítica baixo a qual se suportava a explicação de sua realidade histórico-cultural concreta, tendo como referência a teoria dos cinco elementos originários e a analogia que se apresenta nas culturas nativas. Como colofón, se apresenta uma exemplificação prática do exposto anteriormente.
