Este artículo es resultado de una revisión documental realizada para la investigación denominada “Prácticas pedagógicas en educación económica y financiera en básica primaria”, que se lleva a cabo en la Institución Educativa Silvestre Arenas de Sogamoso (Boyacá, Colombia) en los grados 5A y 2B. Después de una revisión de políticas e investigaciones del ámbito internacional y nacional sobre esta temática, se concluye que es necesaria la articulación transversal para el desarrollo y la ejecución de un proyecto en educación económica y financiera para las instituciones educativas.
