Presenta la optimización utilizando algoritmos genéticos para el diseño de un controlador robusto H8 usando técnicas de desigualdades matriciales lineales para controlar la posición de cabeceo y dirección en un helicóptero de dos grados de libertad. La optimización se realiza cuando falla el sensor de velocidad de cabeceo y dirección, con base en la energía consumida, el máximo sobrepico y la frecuencia de oscilación del sistema. Se presentan los resultados de las simulaciones sobre el modelo no lineal del sistema.
