As the starting elements there were used the spatial location of the earthquakes, their magnitudes, depths, curves of energetic unload and their relations magnitude frequency. The evaluation of these statistics allows the analysis of the behavior time-space of the seismic activity. There were introduced comparisons with the determinations realized previously (1979-1989) and the adjustments produced by the changes of the system coverage, during the stage of study, are evaluated. |

Se presentan los resultados de la evaluación anual del régimen sísmico (años 1998 a 2007) de la región oriental de Cuba, con la información registrada por las estaciones del Servicio Sismológico Nacional Cubano, se utilizan como elementos de partida la ubicación espacial de los terremotos, sus magnitudes, profundidades, curvas de descarga energética y sus relaciones magnitud-frecuencia. La evaluación de estos estadígrafos permite el análisis del comportamiento espacio-temporal de la actividad sísmica. Se introducen comparaciones con determinaciones realizadas anteriormente (1979-1989) y se evalúan ajustes producto de los cambios de la cobertura del sistema durante la etapa de estudio.
