Los filtros activos de potencia se han convertido en una alternativa viable para el control de niveles de armónicos en aplicaciones industriales y comerciales. Este artículo presenta el estudio detallado de la estructura de filtro activo de potencia en derivación, la metodología para el modelado y el diseño de un filtro activo de potencia en paralelo, y el estudio del comportamiento dinámico como alternativa al modelo de conmutación del filtro activo. Las simulaciones de este trabajo contaron con el apoyo especializado de simulación, utilizando la ingeniería de software Simulink-Matlab ®.
