In any case, teachers have the capacity to influence their students’ motivation. In October 2016 the Autonomous University of Chihuahua School of Arts Flute Orchestra was formed as part of the project called School of Arts Flute Orchestra: Inclusion and group work between students and teachers. Research project, aimed at impacting on the performance of flute students. By means of qualitative research, the present article shares the results of the first interviews with the nine members of the group regarding motivation. The results show that intrinsic motivation is predominant in the first instance and that students present skills development, problem solving, a decrease of stage fright, and progress in their academic learning arising therefrom. |

La motivación tiene un rol fundamental para promover el desarrollo de las distintas competencias y habilidades de los estudiantes. Se genera como resultado del interés genuino de la persona —intrínseca— o por factores ajenos, como un beneficio o recompensa —extrínseca—. De cualquier manera, el docente tiene la capacidad de influir en la motivación de los alumnos. En octubre de 2016 se forma la Orquesta de Flautas de la Facultad de Artes de la Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua como parte del proyecto denominado Orquesta de Flautas de la Facultad de Artes: Inclusión y trabajo grupal de estudiantes y docentes. Proyecto de investigación, con el propósito de incidir en el desempeño de estudiantes de flauta. Empleando la investigación cualitativa, el presente artículo comparte los resultados de las primeras entrevistas realizadas a los nueve integrantes de dicha agrupación en relación con la motivación. A través de los resultados se observa que la motivación intrínseca es predominante en un primer escenario y que derivado de ello los alumnos presentan desarrollo de habilidades, resolución de problemas, disminución del miedo escénico, y avances en su aprendizaje académico. La motivation joue un rôle essentiel pour promouvoir le développement des compétences et des habiletés chez les étudiants. La motivation intrinsèque résulte d’un intérêt véritable de l’individu ; la motivation extrinsèque résulte de facteurs extérieurs comme un bénéfice ou une récompense. En tout cas, les enseignants ont la capacité d’influencer la motivation de leurs étudiants. En octobre 2016, l’Orchestre de Flûtes de la Faculté des Arts de l’Université Autonome de Chihuahua a été créée dans le cadre du projet dénommé Orchestre de Flûtes de la Faculté des Arts: Inclusion et travail en groupe entre les étudiants et les enseignants. Projet de recherche visant à avoir une incidence sur la performance des étudiants en flûte. Sur la base de la recherche qualitative, cet article partage les résultats des premières entrevues réalisées auprès des neuf intégrants du groupe concernant la motivation. Les résultats montrent que la motivation intrinsèque est prédominante dans un premier temps. Il en découle que les étudiants présentent un développement de leurs compétences, résolution de problème, une diminution du trac, et des progrès dans leur apprentissage académique. De qualquer maneira, o docente tem a capacidade de influenciar na motivação dos alunos. Em outubro de 2016 é formada a Orquestra de Flautas da Faculdade das Artes da Universidade Autónoma de Chihuahua como parte do projeto chamado Orquestra de Flautas da Faculdade das Artes: Inclusão e trabalho grupal de estudantes e docentes. Projeto de pesquisa, com a finalidade de incidir no desempenho dos estudantes de flauta. Empregando a pesquisa qualitativa, este artigo compartilha os resultados das primeiras entrevistas feitas aos nove membros deste grupo em relação com a motivação.
