description This text is inspired by the joint work of two public institutions: State University of Rio de Janeiro and Municipal School Joaquim da Silva Peçanha, located on the outskirts of the State of Rio de Janeiro, through the continuing education and research project entitled Can philosophy be incorporated in Caxias? The public school bets on thinking. The project was initially intended to be developed only in courses for children but then it was expanded to courses for young people and adults. We address the possible relation between the establishment and the expansion of the philosophical project and children’s affirmation power as a breakthrough and novelty. In other words, we seek to study what childhood can be, not only for children but for people of all ages. How can the relationship between children, philosophizing, thinking, and dreaming be addressed? Often, we the project participants are surprised by the curiosity stimulated by sharing and telling our stories. We will aim to recover remarkable experiences in order to analyze the power of philosophy in overcoming boundaries, becoming childish, inviting to dream, and transforming lives.

Este texto está inspirado en el trabajo conjunto entre dos instituciones públicas: la Universidad del Estado de Río de Janeiro y la Escuela Municipal Joaquim da Silva Peçanha, ubicada en la periferia del estado de Río de Janeiro, a través del proyecto de investigación y extensión ¿En Caxias, la filosofía encaja? La escuela pública le apuesta al pensamiento. Inicialmente pensado para llevarse a cabo solo en clases de niños, el proyecto se amplió hasta las clases de Educación de Jóvenes y Adultos. Abordamos la posible relación de la llegada y la ampliación del proyecto de filosofía con el poder afirmativo de la infancia, como ruptura y novedad. En otras palabras, buscamos investigar lo que la infancia puede ser, no solo la de los niños, sino a cualquier edad. ¿Cómo se puede abordar la relación entre las infancias, filosofar, pensar y soñar? En muchas ocasiones, los participantes del proyecto nos sorprendemos con la curiosidad provocada cuando compartimos y narramos nuestras historias. Trataremos de recuperar algunas experiencias destacadas para pensar la capacidad de la filosofía de disolver fronteras, volverse infantil, invitar a soñar y transformar vidas. Ce texte s'inspire du travail commun entre deux institutions publiques : l'Université de l'État de Rio de Janeiro et l'École Municipale Joaquim da Silva Peçanha située dans la banlieue de l'État de Rio de Janeiro, par le biais du projet de recherche et de formation continue La philosophie peut-elle être intégrée à Caxias ? L'école publique parie sur la pensée. Le projet a été initialement conçu pour être réalisé seulement dans les classes pour les enfants ; néanmoins, il s’est étendu jusqu’aux classes pour les jeunes et les adultes. Nous abordons le lien éventuel entre l'établissement et l'expansion du projet de philosophie et le pouvoir d'affirmation des enfants en tant que percée et nouveauté. En d’autres termes, nous visons à rechercher ce qui l’enfance peut être, non seulement pour les enfants mais pour les personnes de tout âge. Comment la relation entre l’enfance, philosopher, penser, et rêver peut-elle être abordée ? Souvent, nous, les participants au projet, nous sommes surpris par la curiosité qui s’éveille en partageant et en racontant nos histoires. Nous chercherons à récupérer quelques expériences remarquables dans le but d’analyser le pouvoir de la philosophie pour effacer les frontières, devenir enfantine, inviter à rêver, et transformer des vies. Esta escrita é inspirada nos movimentos entre a Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro e a Escola Municipal Joaquim da Silva Peçanha, localizada na periferia do estado do Rio de Janeiro, ambas instituições públicas, através do projeto de pesquisa e extensão Em Caxias, a filosofia en-caixa? A escola pública aposta no pensamento. Inicialmente pensado para atender apenas as turmas de crianças, o projeto se ampliou até as turmas da Educação de Jovens e Adultos. Abordamos a possível relação da chegada e ampliação do projeto de filosofia com a potência afirmativa da infância, enquanto ruptura e novidade. Em outras palavras, buscamos investigar o que pode ser a infância, não apenas das crianças, mas em qualquer idade. Que aproximação é possível entre as infâncias, entre filosofar, pensar e sonhar? Em muitas ocasiões, os participantes do projeto somos surpreendidos com a curiosidade provocada quando compartilhamos e narramos nossos relatos. Tentaremos recuperar algumas dessas experiências marcantes para pensar a potência da filosofia de dirimir fronteiras, tornar-se infantil, convidar a sonhar, transformar vidas.
