    “…Spa: La región de Urabá se presenta como la gran apuesta de Antioquia para temas que van desde lo económico, social hasta lo turístico siendo una zona neurálgica para el desarrollo departamental, el turismo en Urabá se ha desarrollado desorganizada y aisladamente pero aun así se ha consolidado como el segundo renglón económico por detrás de los tradicionales cultivos de banano y plátano, en nuestro proyecto “estrategia  clúster  para el Urabá antioqueño” hemos detectado la falta de comunicación y apoyo dentro de la cadena productiva del turismo de Urabá siendo este uno de los catalizadores  de la  iniciación de este proyecto, durante nuestra reciente visita a la región para la recolección de datos y avance del proyecto nos encontramos con que todos los empresarios (hoteles, agencias de viajes corporaciones turísticas, centros de negocios y municipios) están dispuestos a conformar un clúster turístico en la región viendo en él la oportunidad perfecta para hacer de Urabá la región turísticamente más competitiva del departamento además observamos que la percepción de seguridad, transporte y alimentación por parte de los turistas que llegan a Urabá es altamente positiva lo que hace que Urabá sea la región propicia para la creación de un clúster de turismo, Urabá es una zona con alto potencial en todos los campos económicos y mucho más en el turismo ya que es una de las regiones más ricas y biodiversas no solo de Antioquia sino de Colombia contando con las condiciones necesarias para albergar turistas de toda clase ofreciendo paisajes y experiencias únicas.…”
